VMN's top mount Intercooler spacer is designed for the Toyota Hilux 2005-2015 with the D4D diesel engine. The purpose of this part is to space the plastic engine cover up 50mm and seal around the intercooler. This lets the engine cover seal against the rubber boot on the air scoop to ensure that airflow to the intercooler is not affected when the body has been lifted. Manufactured from powdercoated mild steel.To fit this to your vehicle, all you have to do is to remove the 5 bolts securing the engine cover and place the spacer with the angled edge to the front of the vehicle. secure it with the factory mounting bolts and then fit the engine cover using the supplied fasteners that bolt into the nutserts.

The intercooler spacer also includes mounting holes for a slimiline intercooler fan that is available seperately. Fitting the fan can improve performance offroad when there is insuificient airflow through the bonnet scoop to effectively cool the air passing through the intercooler.
